• Twin/Triple rooms consist of lower double bed and upper single bed.
• Family room consists of 3 single bunks and 1 lower double bunk

Please note: The female dorm is only available for booking by females. Males who book this room will have their booking cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded!

Breakfast: The West End Hostel charges £1.00 per person for a continental breakfast.  This includes; choice of three Kelloggs cereal (milk too), coffee & tea (sugar too), toast & butter.

With our self catering facilities, top of the line security system, brilliant city centre location and variety of rooms/dorms we are the perfect choice for school, college or university groups travelling to Edinburgh. Hen and Stag Weekends

If you are planning a Hen or Stag weekend look no further, you’ve found the perfect hostel to base your time in Edinburgh. If you are arriving at Edinburgh Airport we will arrange to have a bus driver meet you at the baggage claim area, assist you with purchasing your tickets (only £3 per person), help you to the bus, and then call the bus stop you are to get off at for the hotel. We can make a booking for your group at 'Eat' the fantastic steakhouse & Scottish kitchen at the West End Hotel just round the corner from the hostel. If you are wanting to participate in some fun activities leave it to us, we have a great list of contacts to help make your weekend one you will never forget:

Please note: all group bookings are required to pay a £20 security deposit per person which is refunded on departure given there is no damage.

Cancellation Policy:  If you have to cancel your reservation with us we require 48 hours from the date of check in.  If your reservation is for eight people or more (a group booking) we require two weeks from the date of check in.  All cancellations should be made by telephone to 0131 313 1031 and confirmed by email to reservations@edinburghcitycentrehostels.co.uk.  NOTE: The two week cancellation policy also applies to every booking for the Hogmany period - the minimum four night stay during 28 December - 1 January.  Any deposits made to the hostel (not to any agents) which are applicable for refund because the cancellation to the reservation has been made within the timescales described will be refunded to the account given at the point of booking.
